How Old is My Cat?

Cats And KittenBoth cats and dogs age differently than humans. It used to be said that a dog aged seven years for each human year. That’s not exactly true as dogs age much more rapidly in their early years. The same is true for cats. The following provides a good guideline for estimating your cat’s age in human years:

  2. I love these charts. According to this, Sam is in her early 60’s and Conrad in his early 80’s. Sam seems about right, but I would have guessed Conrad to be even older since he’s kind of a feeble old guy. Of course, we don’t know his exact age, so he could be older than we think!
